There is an important problem in the world. We must think about the population. Recently, the number of children decreases and elderly people are increasing. If this situation does not change, we will have a bad future. It will be hard to support old people. This problem must be changed. I want to write about the bad effects of the population problem and what we must do.

The difference in population between generations becomes larger. The report of SERC tells us that sum of population will decrease in the future (Akihiko Yamano ,SERC). The average life span becomes longer because technology like medical machine develops. Especially, the stratum of over sixty five years old people gradually increases. Conversely, the stratums of under fourteen years gradually decreases. In the near future, this composition will shift up, the stratum of under 14 years old will be made. This situation makes society that there are few people who can work and pay tax. As a result, all the stratum of people suffers. The difference of generations hurts society.

In the world, there is a problem of not only decreasing people but also increasing people. In China, all of the population becomes very large. It is hard to get enough food and materials. The government of China made a resolution for solving the problem. One child system is one of these systems. If the family has more than two children, the parents must pay a fine. Though in this society, there is little freedom for people to have children, some people have more than two children. Actually, the riot happened about the one child system. Yasuko Maeda who is diplomat of China tells that the route of solving problem is when and where government changes this system, but we have no correct this opinion (Yasuko Maeda, PHP). We can guess that some people do not accept this system and basic problem is not solved. Breaking balance of age makes problem.

We have problems of money and working. This connects to the population. The ministry of international affairs and communication tells us that there is little enough policy for solving the population problem (Ministry of internal affairs and communications) The government must make enough services for supporting parents with children, society of getting job that everyone wants to do and subsidy for sterilization. I told you that the society that it is hard to support old people will come in the near future. If the problem will not be solved, we will not be able to get enough pensions and live comfortably in our old age. It is not easy to find good way of solving this problem. The modern problem affects our money and work.
